Of all our sacraments the Holy Eucharist is the most important to me, and many others feel the same way. People who are home bound obviously cannot take part in this holiest of our services, and need to have the communion brought to them. The several occasions I have done this for our parishioners, I find them to be most appreciative, and I seem to benefit from this service as much if not more than they do.

I agree, Jerry. The person to whom I administrer communion seems to consider me her link to the church. She usually has questions about what went on in church for the week since she can no longer attend. The blessings of this ministry are rich!
